DELTA CATALYST LAB
Capable Team. Sound Strategy.
No Time to build What’s Next.
Who this is for
This is built for you if…
This is not for you if…
THE PATTERN
Misalignment. Missed Deadlines. Missed Opportunities.
None of this is a crisis. That is what makes it hard to pinpoint and hard to carve out time for.
You are not failing, and your team is not the problem. The strategy exists. What is missing is the layer that converts strategy into motion. Across your industry, that layer is currently being cut.
Our Point of View
The Executive Age
Since the Industrial Revolution, organizations have held roughly one shape: the perfect triangle with a vision layer, a strategic layer, a Middle, and an operational layer. The Middle is the layer that takes strategy apart and makes it executable.
It is also the layer currently being removed. Amazon, Google, Block, Citigroup and Salesforce have all cut management layers and attributed the move to AI. On paper the logic is clean. A small number of people, a large amount of payroll, and executives who already hold the plans.

We think what follows is an Executive Age: a period in which AI is a commodity every competitor holds, and the only advantages left are strategy nobody else has and a working connection between that strategy and the customer. Both require more executives and a wider Middle – not fewer.
The organizations that will be able to staff that are the ones investing in their Middle now.
Two things break that logic. The first is immediate: the work does not disappear when the layer does. It transfers to executives whose time, focus and orientation are committed somewhere else.
The second takes time to surface, and it is the expensive one. The Middle is where executives are grown. It is the only place a person learns systems thinking, risk assessment, change management and financial judgment while still close enough to the front line to know how a decision will land. Cut it in 2026 and you have removed your 2028 leadership bench.
And it’s not like corporate America has been diligently investing in the Middle for the last few decades. The neglect has caused declines that these types of cuts will only exacerbate:
DDI’s 2025 Global Leadership Forecast, drawn from more than 10,000 leaders across 50 countries, already puts leadership bench strength at 20%.
How We Work
We Diagnose before We Prescribe.
Every engagement starts the same way: we find out what is actually happening in your day, in your
organization, and with your people before anyone proposes a solution.
Diagnose
Where does alignment actually break? We work through your leadership team, your decision patterns, and the distance between what is said at the top and what is understood three layers down.
DECiDE
The diagnostic sets the stage for your Decision Register. This is a written record of the decisions your organization has been avoiding, deferring, or re-making. It is usually uncomfortable. It is the most valuable document we produce.
GUIDED INSTALLATION
We guide your leaders in building the structure that closes the gap: shared purpose, clear decision rights, and communication that survives the trip from the leadership room to the floor.
VERIFY
We test whether it holds without us and without you in every room. If it does not hold, we are not finished.
DEVELOP
We work 1:1 with leaders to develop their skills, challenge their limits and help them reach their goals.
We do not sell packages. Engagements are scoped after the diagnostic, because a ninety-day problem and a three-year problem should not be priced the same or treated the same. Some of our work runs a month. Some engagements run across years.
EVIDENCE
Before Delta Catalyst Lab, Rachel Honoway held the roles our clients hold: Chief Executive Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Product Officer.
The Firm
Delta Catalyst Lab is a Firm, not a Practice.
Client work is delivered by certified practitioners. The method is documented, the curriculum is proprietary, and the artifacts you keep.Your Decision Register, your WHY Statements, your alignment framework, and your playbook are built to outlast the engagement and to work whether or not any one of us is in the room.
Rachel spent roughly twenty-five years inside organizations before she started advising them. She sat in the executive hot-seat as a Chief Executive Officer, a Chief Marketing Officer, and a Chief Product Officer.
She has carried a vision her team could not quite see and the board needed to be convinced of. She has made consequential decisions without a neutral sounding board. She has watched an organization's momentum depend entirely on her own attention, and understood what that costs.
That experience is why Delta Catalyst Lab starts with a diagnostic instead of a framework.
Start a Conversation
Thirty minutes. We will talk about what is actually happening in your organization, and whether this is the right work for where you are right now.
We take on a limited number of engagements at a time.
