Booked prmier service as mt wife and I are not young and have back problems.
Spent an hour on the phone talki g through our requirements. When the estimate came through at £2600 something seamed a bit steep but hopefully you get what you pay for?
I was expecting 2 vans 4 people taking all the stress out of it.
When I saw the estimate I wasn’t happy everything was covered, so I did another extensive video survey showing every item in every room. I was told by Sam? she would review the video and adjust.
On the day I got one van with previous companys signs half removed. No tail lift, which I thought was vertually standard nowadays. The 2 guys seemed unhappy from the start and I’m guessing weren’t expecting as big a job. Our package was unlimited dismantling and wrapping. I packed most of the glassware myself in the kitchen. I also made up 2 of the beds. This was not drivers fault but lack of anyvan sending enough people to get the job done.
When I mentioned this to customer care she said I had a package and if I helped it was voluntary.
I also complained that our white suites were just being loaded and without proper covering. She just said she would speak to the driver. I wasn’t prepared to hang on the phone at my expense, so I asked for a call back which never came.
Needless to say the drivers had to leave the garage full and make a return trip. With credit to them they soldiered on and made the best of a bad situation. They finally left my house around 10 I think bearing in mind we started at 8am.
We were also told they would supply wardrobe boxes for my wifes dresses. There were no no none. Also because items were missed it was requested I pay a further £210 which I refused, making the automated call hang up.
Consequently I’m siting writing this at 4am still totally stressed from the experience.
I would not recommend Anyvan to anyone for removals. Look elsewhere.
